7” x 5.5” diameter. Stained glass mosaic on porcelain. This vessel was inspired by a sheet of emerald green glass, Japanese patterns, contemporary glass cutting and ancient Roman mosaic technique. I love the challenge of blending styles and techniques from across eras and continents. It makes me feel connected to the artists and craftsmen of the world.
